Hello and Happy Friday!!
I wanted to depart a little from scrapbooking & mixed media to share some other things I have been working on lately.
( I am not affiliated with the artist or under any obligation to promote her work, just love it so much, I want everyone to know her! )
A couple years ago I can across a book called "Creative Girl - Mixed Media Techniques for an Art Life" and I instantly fell in love! The artist is Danielle Donaldson and she has recently released another book as well as the continuation of her online workshops. This was the first workshop of hers I took called "Down to Earth."
A couple of the quick beginning paintings from this lesson.
Below is the final, finished piece from the lesson! I can't tell you how relaxing and therapeutic it was for me to paint this. I have been watercoloring for more than 25 years but I have so much more learn!
As you can see, her work is very playful, imaginative, intricate and full of tiny, creative details!
